We do accept institutional purchase orders from Canada, USA and Internationally.
To expedite your order, you can place your order online and follow the instructions to upload your PO. You will be able to consult a help video if needed. Orders for online LUI must use this method.
Alternatively, purchase orders (for hardcopy LUI) can be faxed to 888-232-2502 or emailed as an attachment to sales@languageuseinventory.com
Hardcopy orders of the LUI are shipped via Canada Post or UPS. When ordering, you will be able to choose your preferred shipper and see the cost before confirming your order. GST/HST is charged on Canadian orders as applicable depending on location. We do not collect taxes on orders shipped outside of Canada.
If you need to add us to your vendor database and need a W9 form, you can download a pdf of this completed W-8BEN-E form (which we complete instead of a W9 as we are a non-US company) with all the information on it you should need.
At present there are no other distributors of the Language Use Inventory. We are the sole publisher of the Language Use Inventory.

Our highest priorities are safeguarding the confidentiality of clients, the secure transfer and storage of data, and ensuring compliance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
When you administer or a parent completes, the LUI, the only information requested is the child’s sex (male/female) and date of birth. You can choose to store all data in your account via fully anonymous identification numbers of own choosing. Access to your account and the data housed within it is protected by your encrypted account password.
All client data during administration is encrypted before transfer (e.g., between a parent’s computer at home and our server and between our server and the professional’s computer) using industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, transferred using a secure connection, and stored in a secure database, using industry best practices by our hosting facility’s servers located in the United Kingdom.
Our hosting facility is located in the United Kingdom because the United Kingdom, unlike the United States, is recognized by the European Union as meeting the adequacy requirements of the European Union for the protection of personal data.
